Iced Coffee Recipes

So you've got a bottle of Grady's Cold Brew in your fridge, now what can you make with it? Anything you want! Grady’s stays fresh in the fridge for a month and is double strength, so get creative. You can drink it straight for an espresso-like shot, add it to your favorite cocktail, or use it to liven up your “world famous” chili recipejust make sure you record the results. Email your recipes and photos to: recipes@gradyscoldbrew.com. The Basics


Grady’s New Orleans-Style Iced Coffee
4 oz Grady’s Cold Brew
4 oz milk (we prefer 2%, but try whole, skim, chocolate, soy, almond, hazelnut, etc)
Ice


Prepare:
Pour Grady's over ice.
Add milk and sugar to taste.
Stir.


Black Iced Coffee
4 oz Grady’s Cold Brew
4 oz water (try it with coconut water, too)
Ice


Prepare:
Pour Grady's over ice.
Add water and sugar to taste.
Stir.


Grady’s Hot Coffee
4 oz Grady’s Cold Brew
4 oz milk (for black coffee, use water)


Prepare:
Heat milk and Grady’s to just below boiling.
Remove from heat and add sugar to taste.
Stir.


Cold-Brewed Coffee T
6 oz water
2 oz Grady’s Cold Brew
1 orange wedge
Ice


Prepare:
Pour water over ice.
Add Grady’s, orange, and sugar to taste.
Stir.
(Try it hot, too!)


The Boozy


Grady’s Coffee Stout
12 oz dark stout (Grady loves Left Hand’s Milk Stout, but it’s great with Guinness too)
1 oz Grady’s Cold Brew


Prepare:
Pour stout, add Grady's.
Cheers.


The Wake-up Call - (our version of a White Russian)
2 oz vodka
1 oz whole milk (or cream if you’re going traditional)
1 oz Grady’s Cold Brew
Ice


Prepare:
Pour vodka and Grady's over ice.
Add milk and sugar to taste.


Grady’s Night Coffee
2 oz tequila
2 oz Grady’s Cold Brew
Ice


Prepare:
Stir.


Cold Brew Orange Twist
2 oz dark spiced rum
1 oz orange juice
1 oz Grady’s Cold Brew
Ice


Prepare:
Mix and serve.

 

Grady’s Manhattan
1 oz bourbon
1 oz Grady’s Cold Brew
1/2 oz vermouth
3-5 dashes bitters
Ice


Prepare:
Shake with ice.
Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Garnish with a twist and serve.

John and Elana’s Cold Brew Smoothie – johnandelana.com
8 oz soy milk
1 oz Grady's Cold Brew
1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
1 small ripe banana
1 heaping teaspoon of Chia seeds (optional, but John and Elana like them for added protein)

Prepare:
Throw it all in a blender and enjoy!
Tips:
If you're looking for more protein, try a chocolate protein powder.


Grady's Cold Brew Bread Pudding - Eddie Macnamara
Serves 12
1 ½ cup heavy cream
1 cup milk
½ cup Grady’s Cold Brew
2 cups granulated sugar
¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
4 eggs, beaten
½ cup chopped pecans
1 cup of your favorite chocolate, chopped
1lb day old Italian or Country White bread, cut into 1” cubes

Prepare:
Preheat Oven to 350F.
In large bowl, stir together cream, milk and Grady’s.
Add sugar, cocoa, vanilla and cinnamon; stirring until incorporated.
Stir in eggs, pecans and chocolate.
Grease a 9” x13” baking dish and add bread.
Cover with mixture and let absorb liquid for 30 minutes.
Bake for 1 hour—bread pudding should be set, and moistened by melted chocolate.
Serve hot, cold or at room temperature
